Alliance of America Movil and Nokia to expand Nokia Maps

. Interesting just announced alliance between America Movil and Nokia to expand its services and Nokia Maps navigation, America Movil (owner of Telmex and Telcel and Claro) is going to sell / distribute the navigation service (not the software itself that It's free!) in Nokia Maps.


The alliance speaks of "other services to include in the agreement" but gives no details of whether this will include some kind of exclusivity on Telefónica teams, something that should be natural for the type of alliance, but I do not think it happens given the scale of the Spanish group in the world ...

This is a great sample of how the mobile ecosystem is different from others, without the distribution channels are closed and so Nokia is a sales representative can sell and, most importantly, effective charge distribution of its services.
