Samsung’s Diva phones (S7070 and S5150) will be advertised by Carmen Kass

Samsung Diva S7070 and Diva S5150, the two new fashionable phones announced by the South Korean company at the end of 2009, will be advertised with the help of international model Carmen Kass.

Starting February this year, the Estonian-born model will appear in “Samsung Diva Collection 2010” TV commercial and print ads – first in Baltic countries, Portugal and Hungary, and then in other European markets.

Samsung Diva S7070 is a 3G-less touchscreen phone that has a 2.8 inch QVGA display, TouchWiz UI, accelerometer, social networking integration, 40MB of internal memory, and a 3.2MP autofocus camera with two special features (Beauty Effect and Lomo Effect).

Samsung Diva fold S5150 is obviously a clamshell, but its features are pretty similar to the ones of the S7070 – save for the touchscreen display.

Both handsets will be offered with an (optional) “Premium Package”, which includes a “luxurious handmade genuine leather phone case”, and a “trendy phone strap”.

The Samsung Diva S7070 and S5150 should be first available in the UK, France and Germany starting this month. The phones will also be launched in China and other Southeastern Asian countries. Their prices have not been announced.
