Nokia dual SIM phones to come in the second quarter of 2010

For the moment, Samsung is the only important phone manufacturer interested in making and selling dual SIM handsets. The South Korean company announced quite a few dual SIM phones this year: Samsung C5212, Samsung B5702, Samsung C3212, Samsung B5722 and Samsung C6112.

There is certainly demand for such handsets (especially in Asia and in Eastern Europe), and it looks like Nokia wants to make some, too.

According to Eldar Murtazin from Mobile Review, the Finnish manufacturer will launch mid-end dual SIM phones in the second quarter of 2010. A Nokia Russia official has apparently confirmed this, although there are absolutely no details about the phones’ features and design.

We’ll bring more about Nokia’s dual SIM phones as soon as new info is available.
