Windows Mobile 6.5 NOT released on 11 May

The news came in recent days and did not have time to raise a chorus of unanimous consensus that has proved false.

It seemed that Microsoft had fixed the date of 11 May as the day appointed for the release of its long-awaited Windows Mobile 6.5, an intermediate step in anticipation of Windows Mobile 7.
