Starts the bidding contest for the new 3G in Chile

. Chile officially launched in a few weeks ago the competition for the new 3G tender process which will culminate in mid-July and will promote the offer of the mobile Internet services in Chile, which began in mid-2008 adding more than 280,000 subscribers since finding.


Through the 3G tender will be awarded three blocks of 30 MHz in the band 1700 MHz and 2100 and all users should evaluate it before buying a new 3G cellphone.

So it awarded the company offering the widest coverage deployed in the shortest time possible so as to ensure that 3G services can reach all parts of the country as quickly as possible, and greater number of users.

It was also established that if Movistar, Claro and Entel PCS exceed the limit of 60 MHz of spectrum must return the radio spectrum necessary to comply with this limit, either by amendment, waiver of its former concessions, or a tender open to third not related to them.
