Nokia sold its broadcasting division of Mobile TV to Wipro

. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but it was learned that Nokia decided to sell its entire Wipro division's research and development for mobile TV broadcasting, including about 40 engineers, specialists in back-end solutions for Mobile TV.

The division, which specializes in R & D and associated with long Wipro is responsible for developing the Mobile Broadcast Solution solution, the infrastructure of transmission of the DVB-H, as shown below in the network diagram, including broadcast and broadcast manager encapsulator:


From now on Nokia will work only in software solutions for Mobile TV client and not on solutions for broadcasters and operators of telecommunications.
