Lithium batteries. In the future, rechargeable in a few seconds?

Interesting news, published by the BBC a few hours ago that the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) is working on a new compound that allows to recharge a lithium battery in seconds.
According to read, researchers from the prestigious American institute have managed to make it to the charging of a prototype in less than 20 seconds.
Unfortunately, the technology is not yet ready for commercialization on a large scale which, if happens, is only between 5-10 years ...

Charging a battery in only a few seconds. wow. that is really fast. this is what i call being efficient!
