The corporate segment of smartphones with QWERTY keyboard is one of the fastest growing and therefore worthwhile to address two major representatives of this niche: Nokia E71 and BlackBerry Bold 9000.

Let's start with the design, where the E71 is much more finite and less wide (57 x 10mm to 66 x 15 mm) but just as long as the Bold, both with 114mm. As for the housing, the E71 is made of stainless steel while the Bold is plastic and leather.

As we said, both have QWERTY keyboard, but the E71, since this is less wide, is glued over the keys becoming more complicated to write on the keyboard of the Bold. The overlap between these smartphones are GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G.

As for the camera E71 wins with it with 3.2 MPX autofocus and video recording while the Bold if you prefer you'll have to make do with a 2-MPX. However, the Bold has a screen with 480 x 320 pixels resolution, while the eSeries 320 x 240 resolution.

In conclusion, if you prefer a smartphone with QWERTY keyboard that is more stylish and comfortable to carry in your pocket to choose the E71 but if you care about is the screen and a comfort to write, go for the Bold.
