MWC 09: TI OMAP 4 FullHD 1080p support comes to smartphones

Texas Instruments recently announced the launch of the OMAP platform 4 that will allow smartphones and mobile devices to support small to play in FullHD 1080p definition .... Just a year after announcing that support for OMAP 3 was 720p and that, for example, be used in the MID Archos.

Personally, 1080p on a display of 3 inches or 4 at most (like smartphones or MIDS) does not make much sense if we EXCEPT full in our video archives and do not want to be turning to go to the phone .... but we are we capable of distinguishing a chapter of the fifth season of Lost in 720p or 1080p on the display of an iPhone 3G? ;)
