LG reorganizes its structure to grow globally

With the advent of the 2009 LG Electronics has announced strategic changes in the structure of the company and created a new division called Business Solutions' business and business-focused solutions for clients and business partners. Also strive to sustain and grow all these new business units in the hands of the new CEO, former VP of the Mobile division, Skott Ahn, who was promoted in this reorganization.

As a result of the reorganization of the four traditional divisions of the firm, Digital Appliance, Digital Display, Digital Media and Mobile Communications, will be structured into five new business areas, four completely new and redefined, Home Entertainment, Home Appliance, Air Conditioning and Business Solutions, and one that remains intact, Mobile Communications.

Also in this reorganization, the company has promoted 48 new directors present divisions between 5 and has restructured its business portfolio, seeking to maximize the growth potential of individual business units and generate greater expectations for 2009 and years to come.
