Quickoffice Releases eOffice 4.7 for BlackBerry

BlackBerrys finally gained the native ability to edit Microsoft Office documents with the release of BlackBerry OS 4.5 late last year. The OS now includes a copy of the excellent DataViz Documents To Go built-in. That rendered products like DynoPlex eOffice--an expensive, rather unwieldy mobile office app dating back several years--pretty much irrelevant.

However, Quickoffice--which bought DynoPlex last year--has done a lot to improve eOffice's appeal. The latest version, 4.7, includes a new user interface, a greatly reduced price of $29.95, and support for Google Docs and Spreadsheets. That's in addition to the rather unique print and fax support that was already present.
