Sony Ericsson G705 announced formally

We had seen and read much on this Sony Ericsson G705 mid-range slider, but now we have the official specifications:



* GSM / GPRS / EDGE 850/900/1800/1900
* Tri-band 3G in the U.S. version - UMTS / HSUPA 850/1900/2100
* 2.4-inch display
* HTML browser
* Automatic screen-orientation rotation
* Inbuilt AGPS combined with Google Maps for Mobile and Wayfinder
* WiFi and DLNA certified, Bluetooth 2.0 (A2DP)
* 3.2 megapixel camera with Photo fix and geotagging support
* YouTube compatible - upload video directly to YouTube

It was also announced today the Sony Ericsson G705u, the first Sony Ericsson mobile UMA, enabling users to exchange voice calls between mobile networks and WiFi networks.

Hits the market in early 2009 and exclusive to Orange.

We have used the marketing dept with Sony Ericsson that they are filtered photos of new models before the official announcement. Now, as we see Jampa Blog, it is up to the G705, according to the characteristics, the slider would be a medium performance but with WiFi, according to GSM Arena reports.


The G705 has a 2.4 inch screen and includes a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash. Come with built-in GPS and 128MB of memory, so we see something decent and not so full.
