Windows Mobile fans should be familiar with Swype, the popular and new input method that graces the Samsung Omnia II. When using Swype, you abandon the traditional method of hunt and peck and use a more natural swiping motion, running your fingers fluidly over the letters on the keyboard while the software predicts the correct word. The company behind Swype is developing an Android version which will be marketed to carriers and device manufacturers with the hope of integrating this novel keyboard into upcoming Android devices. But, if you have a WVGA Android device (read: Motorola DROID or Nexus One) and want to get a sneak peek of Swype, you can download a leaked beta version of the keyboard from DROIDMUFF.IN. Give it a whirl and let us know what you think.
