Launched more than one year ago, Google Earth for iPhone has now reached version 2.0, coming with new features and support for a total of 31 languages (including Russian, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Hebrew).

Google Earth for iPhone 2.0 lets you view custom maps (created by your or by others) via the My Maps interface. Moreover, it offers improved performance and enhanced icon selection – “when you touch an icon, a small glow appears under your finger to let you know which icon you have picked.”

A review of Google Earth for iPhone can be found here, while the app can be downloaded here (iTunes link).

Google Earth for iPhone is a hugely popular application, so we’re wondering how long it will take until Google launches a version for Android, too.
