Back in June, when Apple and AT&T unveiled the new iPhone 3GS, the second largest US carrier said that MMS support would be available in “late summer”. As you’ve probably noticed, summer is gone and this didn’t happen.
However, AT&T has just announced that it will bring MMS to both the iPhone 3G and the iPhone 3GS, but only starting September 25. Better later than never, right?
AT&T’s iPhone customers will have to enable MMS via a software update that should be released on said date.

MMS aside, AT&T still hasn’t announced when exactly tethering for iPhone will be available.
