Nokia recently announced that it has tweaked the Nokia Music desktop software by making some “small enhancements in key areas.”

One of the new things Nokia Music for desktop offers is the so-called connection mode switching. This provides multiple connection modes when you connect your Nokia phone to a PC.

Furthermore, the installation process has been “modularised” so users can install the desktop application faster. Apparently, if you allready have other Nokia software on your computer (Ovi Suite, for example), the Nokia Music app that you need to download and install can be as small as 9MB.

Other novelties include artwork display enhancement and “progress pane” improvements.

Nokia promised that major updates for the Nokia Music desktop app would be released by the end of 2009.
