Form: The handset is a standard candy-bar device and yet with its metallic finish in black, brown and silver colours, it lends itself a sleek and stylish look and durability. The phone, with its casing and full-metal keypad, feels good and sturdy to hold! The measurements of the handset are 109.8 x 45 x 11.2 mm and it weighs 116.5 grams. The Nokia 6700 Black is designed to slip into a handbag and denim pockets without much difficulty.

Display and Sound: The front panel of the handset houses a 2.2” TFT display with 240 x 320 pixels resolution and supporting up to 16 million colours. Pictures taken on the phone and while browsing the internet, these colours lend the display vivacious and clear hues. Alert types include polyphonic and MP3 ring tones. The speaker phone on the handset allows for shared-conversation.

Memory: The phone has the capacity to store up to thousand contact details in its shared memory of 170 MB, and also keeps a record of twenty each of dialled, received and missed calls. The external memory card slot renders it capable of expanding its storage space up to 8GB capacity. A 1GB microSD card is even included with the box pack of the Nokia 6700 Black.

Data and Navigation: The 3G HSDPA (@ 10 mbps) and HSUPA (@ 2 mbps) enabled handset is supported by HSCSD, GPRS and EDGE technologies and complete with a Bluetooth and microUSB port which allows for data-transfers. The phone’s browser is a WAP 2.0/xHTML/HTML. A built in GPS system (with A-GPS support) makes for convenient navigation. The Nokia Maps application is pre-installed on the handset.

Features: The Nokia 6700 Black houses a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera capable of taking brilliant pictures even in low-light conditions using the LED flash and also record videos in a VGA format. Games are pre-loaded and there is space to download more. The Nokia 6700 Black sports an FM radio and a music player as well.
