EA Mobile Hires Away Buongiorno Exec To Head Europe

EA Mobile has appointed Luca Pagano as its new publishing head for its European operations, the company has confirmed.

The hire was first reported by mobile-ent.biz, which said Pagano is replacing its VP of European publishing, Javier Ferreira, who left in January, and Tim Harrison, EA Mobile’s European marketing director, who left late in 2008.

In a statement, EA said: “Luca joins EA Mobile from Buongiorno (BIT: BNG), where over a period of eight years he held a variety of management positions, most recently Region Managing Director, UK & International. He brings in-depth experience of the mobile entertainment industry and of building and marketing wireless services.”
