. Nokia 6790 Mako and Motorola VE440 Cadbury, two unannounced phones, have recently been approved by the Bluetooth SIG (here and here), thus becoming semi-official.

The Nokia 6790 is a Symbian S60 smartphone that will be released by AT&T in the US, probably in the next few months.

The handset is a “messaging focused” one, featuring a landscape QWERTY keyboard, a QVGA display, email, IM, Web browser and Bluetooth with A2DP.

Here’s what the 6790 looks like:

Unlike the Nokia Mako, Motorola VE440 Cadbury is not a smartphone. It’s a CDMA handset that apparently has low-end features.

Most probably, Motorola VE440 will be released by Verizon or Sprint in the US, but it’s not clear when this will happen.
