RIM looking now for another manufacturer BB

. Research in Motion is sweeping this year and further proof of this is that you are looking for new partner to manufacture its smartphones. So far been working with OEMs Elcotecq (which also manufactures for Nokia and SE) and Cellestia. But as demand for its devices continues to grow, and since they sell have sold over 26 million devices this year, are seeking new suppliers.


Now the candidate seems Foxconn, which thus became the OEM that manufactures devices to Android, Windows Mobile, Web OS, iphone and BB.

Moreover, with these numbers, RIM is the second largest supplier of smartphones, with 18% of the market, just behind Nokia, which is really impressive. Hopefully that growth does not cause much pain. ;)
