Nokia: "It's early to say whether demand has bottomed out"

Nokia, the largest manufacturer of mobile phones in the world, said on Thursday it was too early to say if the demand for the aircraft had reached a minimum. The mobile market is facing its toughest years in 2009 since the financial crisis reduces demand for new models.

"Until now it is too early to estimate whether in our business we have seen demand fall as low or when it will reach the lowest level," said CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo at the annual meeting of shareholders.

Nokia made official last week, falling sales, which reported that Nokia's net income during the first quarter of this year reached 122 million euros, 90% below the 1.22 billion euros in the same quarter of 2008. They reiterated their forecast for a drop of around 10% of the total mobile phones sold during 2009.

i just hope that it would all be for the good. i'm sad when big companies are affected because that also means, we too are affected.
