. At the beginning of their new world tour U2360, the band U2 was dispatched with a great innovation, change to Apple to RIM, leave the iPod and now uses Blackberry. U2 has announced that RIM, Research In Motion BlackBerry manufacturer, will be the exclusive sponsor of his upcoming tour called U2360, as part of the sponsorship agreement, the entire contents of the band and its concerts, would be launched on Blackberrys in the coming months.

The relationship began with Apple for over 4 years with the launch of the new iPod with video, iPod U2 Special Edition line, but now U2 has chosen another big Blackberry to sponsor and distribute their music on mobile devices . The new relationship starts right now, but will be in the area since June, when you start to U2 world tour of 14 cities in Europe and many others from the United States, ending with a recital in September.

"This announcement marks the first stage of a relationship and a shared vision between RIM and U2, which we hope will lead to new and innovative ways to enhance the mobile music experience on the BlackBerry platform for fans of U2," said Paul McGuinness, who also announced that there will be more news shortly ... with this change, or we imagine what they have to tell us later.

That's good that no attempt to mix business with investments of more then one must have thought that Palm could have done the same sponsorship at the upcoming launch of the Palm Pre, in the company of Bono, Elevation Partners, owns an important part of Palm.
