N-Gage Store ovi remain separate and ... for now

"Our objective in the medium term is really all converge into a single distribution channel," said Marco Argenti, vice president of media at Nokia, in an interview with Reuters.

However, it seems that Nokia's strategy will continue for now to maintain separate gaming platform N-Gage and the recently introduced Nokia stores ovi Store.

According to Argenti, ovi Store selling games for the mass market but decided to keep it separate from N-Gage pointing mainly to the hard-core gamers.

"We decided to preserve the user experience, at least at this stage," he added. I think a really good decision which may be a slow transition to no marear its users ... and even less with the gaming niche that promise growth.
