Microsoft and the update to Windows Mobile 6.5

In recent days Microsoft has clarified the issue on the upgrade from Windows Mobile 6.1 to Windows Mobile 6.5, answering the question "can I upgrade to WM 6.5?".
The answer is "depends." You first need a phone with a processor at least 400 MHz and 128 MB of RAM. These specifications met the upgrade is compatible but it depends on the choice by offering this option or not.
Microsoft then washes his hands on the upgrade issue, leaving everything in the hands of the producers, to exploit the launch of the new OS, might be disinclined to offer the upgrade for older models, preferring to launch a new terminal and "forcing" the generational change.
Ok, this scenario is somewhat 'apocalyptic but, probably, we will have the ugrade available for only a few among the best-selling models, leaving no doubt by the smartphone affected by poor commercial success.
