This is one of those headlines that do not affect our everyday life too, but they serve to see how evolving mobile services in other countries and understand where they go.

Air France and KLM, two of Europe's largest airline, on Tuesday began offering the service electronic boarding passes on mobile phones (press release).

After six months of test flights at Paris-Amsterdam and some destinations in French launch last month, ensure that the service is now ready to begin a roll-out throughout Europe and is available on flights to Paris Amsterdam and the most destinations on the continent (excluding UK).

Passengers can receive your boarding pass on their smartphones or cell phones through low-end SMS, MMS or e-mail, and include all the information they contain usually a single bar code that must be scanned at check-in.

So it is no longer necessary to print these documents and the only role that passengers need is your personal identification than the mobile.
