Qualcomm continues to drive the Mobile TV with MediaFLO

To boost its mobile TV service MediaFLO, Qualcomm today acquired a small company called Digital Fountain as it can be a great move according to experts. Digital Fountain is a specialist in delivering IPTV, Internet TV and mobile TV with DVB-T, all approved by standards bodies including 3GPP, DVB and others.

The 2009 is the year to boost mobile TV, as the Open Mobile Video Coalition (OMVC) has brought together 63 television stations to provide coverage for mobile TV in 22 U.S. cities.
