Opera mini: doubles and triples the users to use!

Figures pretty impressive ones issued after the Mobile World Congress party in respect of its own Opera browser Opera Mini.

The program has grown enormously over the years, both in number of users and quantity of page views, which have doubled and tripled respectively in 2008.

The current user base has risen from 11.9 in fact 20 million users, while the number of transcoded pages has increased from 2.4 to 7.5 billion (!!!).

Interestingly, Italy is only the 32nd place among the nations present Say ... maybe that depends on the cost of mobile connections here? ;) That said, it seems that the mobile web is flourishing, there seems?
