Nokia is not dismissed, asked to withdraw to 1000 employees

As a way to avoid bad press by layoffs, Nokia will offer compensation packages to the first 1,000 employees who voluntarily write down a list and want to stop work at Nokia. Employees may apply to the package between March and May and will run in the first half.

Nokia, the largest manufacturer in the world because it has 40% of global production of mobile phones, was making some adjustments by the crisis since late 2008 but not to forced redundancies and bad press for it, for that is that using this preventive measure to address the crisis and the cuts in budgets.
