Nokia has already found the solution to "The Curse of Silence"

A few days ago we saw the Nokia S60 suffered from a vulnerability that SHIP or impossible to receive MMSs attack amusingly called "The Curse of Silence" or "The Curse of Silence," and that is solved with a factory reset, losing all the data that was not included in the backup.

Since those days Nokia asked mobile operators to block the reception of text messages to email addresses that are running the vulnerability, because not all users were doing the upgrade to the final versions of each model.

Nokia now officially released a widget called SMS Cleaner compatible terminals Symbian S60 3rd edition Feature Pack 1, which execute definitive SMS affecting the mobile phone. After that the application is uninstalled and restarted the computer screen, which as before is affected by the vulnerability.
